MongoDB Credential Overview
Storage Function for MongoDB Time Series requires a MongoDB credential that contains the required information.
Requirements
The following information is required to create MongoDB credentials and can be obtained from the MongoDB Atlas.
- Connection string (We recommend copying and pasting from MongoDB Atlas)
- Password
Do not replace <password> in the connection string. See the example screenshot below.
Adding MongoDB credential
Navigate to the Credentials tab from the home page and click on the External credentials tab on the left.
Choose Mongo DB from the Credential brand dropdown and provide the required information then click on the New external credential button to save it.
